Forced Reset Of Usb Device SV8k SONICVIEW 8000 HD
As of firmware 112
If you are having problems with a previously recognized USB device not being available and you can't seem to access it or the files from yout STB do the following.
- Disconnect all drives from STB and power them down
- reboot stb and go to usb menu
- STB will complain that there is no drive attached. Wait
- When you get the blank USB screen, attach USB device and power it up
- STB will autodetect and might as to scan device, say Yes.
- Scan will complete and USB file list will be still empty, hit exit and then go back to USB menu.
Everything should be back.
