Load up the first bin file released by the coders -- nf_hd_v1.3sR_01F
Set up sats , scan in your channels
Edit your channels ( delete - rename etc )
Once you have this all setup and saved on the receiver, you still can't save it to a thumbdrive
Load up nf_hd_v1.3sR_05a bin file
once this finishes loading when prompted hit OK to restart
this will NOT "init" the box and channels that you've editted will remain
Now, once it reboots, you need to SAVE the current channel list you've spent a lot of time editting / modifying to your liking
go to menu/storage
s/w upgrade
press YELLOW to save channel list to USB stick (remember the name of it )
now, go back, and load up newest bin file 21
this will do an "init" so channels and stuff will be lost, but now you can upload your modified channel list bin file
when prompted to hit Ok to restart DON"T
just hit MENU to get out of this area
and hit the power button the remote OFF / ON
and you'll be good to go
NOTE: *** Make sure you make all channels renaming with Long Channel name option OFF otherwise it won't keep all your specific settings ***
