Was talking to RCHammer and he said he wasn't sure if there was a guide for setting up ICS with vista, so I thought I'd post a simple one here.

Step 1: Make sure your Laptop is connected wirelessly, either with an open hotspot or configerd properly with whatever encryption is needed.

Step 2: connect the laptop and nfusion with a cat5 ethernet cable, then turn the nfusion on

Step 3: On the laptop, go to network connections, the easiest way to get there is to right click on the internet icon in the taskbar, and click network and sharing center, then on the left, undertasks, click manage network connections. (if there is no icon, you can also go to start, then network, then network and sharing)

Step 4: Right Click on the wireless connection and go to properties. Click the sharing tab, make sure both boxes are checked, click OK.

Step 5: Turn off the nfusion, and restart the laptop, once the laptop has booted, and is connected to the internet, turn the nfusion on again, to test if it is connected, try and check for an update on the nfusion.

One note though, there is one thing that can mess with this setup and that is if your router is using the IP address of 192.168.0.1, because this is the IP that the laptop is using for ICS. About the only way to solve that is to change your routers settings to give it a diffrent IP. Shouldn't be a worry for most though as most routers use 192.168.2.1

Hope you found this guide helpful, I think it's a great way for anyone In a larger city to feel safer doing anything, from nfusion to downloading movies and software.
